What levels of Absence can I replace?
Over they last 13 years I have worked with all levels of absence from finger digit replacement to forequarter and from single toe to through hip replacement.
For the first 5 years after qualifying I was lead upper extremity prosthetist for a large regional centre. Since then I was lead upper extremity prosthetist for a smaller regional centre.
For the last eleven years I have worked with all levels of lower extremity absence and for the last five was lead lower extremity clinician, where I dealt with the complex cases and pediatrics.
In the last 3 years I have worked with bespoke silicone for cosmetic replacement. I now work with Dave Watts and Orthopaedic Silicone Services for all levels of silicone reconstruction from digit lost to full above knee and above elbows, including reconstruction for muscle loss.
